January 2024 not only marks AtlantHy’s third anniversary, but also the beginning of a year that promises to be decisive for the renewable hydrogen sector. With our new newsletter, we’re excited to be part of this significant moment.
In a critical year for the industry, the global hydrogen market reached €17 billion, with projections to grow to €45 billion by 2034. This 10.4% annual growth is a reflection of the increasing demand for clean energy and the versatility of hydrogen across key sectors. Spain, for its part, will not be a mere spectator of what unfolds in the coming years—and we must be prepared.
Hydrogen refuelling stations, due diligences, prefeasibility studies, conceptual engineering, courses and more courses… In 2023, AtlantHy took part in numerous projects alongside our clients. Their trust and collaboration have been fundamental in our journey toward innovation and sustainability in the renewable hydrogen field, allowing us to keep growing day by day.
Moreover, 2023 stood out for the resolution of funding programmes such as Pioneros and Cadena de Valor, which will undoubtedly facilitate strategic collaborations and accelerate the development of sustainable solutions in the sector—programmes in which AtlantHy has successfully taken part. On another front, the launch of the European Hydrogen Bank last year marked a major step forward in financing and supporting hydrogen-related projects, further reinforcing this energy sector’s mission to lead the energy transition. With the launch of our newsletter, we’ll be sharing in-depth analyses, industry updates, and insights into the renewable hydrogen field.
