This July we are particularly happy at atlantHy because, after nearly five years of work, we are seeing two very special projects taking shape:
Reception of electrolyser at cement plant
We’ve already spoken to you about this project on more than one occasion, as we’ve spent over a year helping a cement plant analyse the impact of hydrogen on its kilns, increasing the use of renewable fuels and generating significant benefits.
In this case, the project has involved not only theoretical and practical analysis, but also field tests burning hydrogen during the plant’s operation and evaluating the results. Likewise, we provided support during the selection of electrolysis equipment, contract negotiations, conducted the FATs, etc.
Finally, after all this work, the 2 MW unit has now been received at the plant and will be installed in the coming days—something we will also be taking part in.

20 MW in Uzbekistan
Another project that we are very excited about is this one, in which we have been collaborating for two years, conducting the hydrogen-related Due Diligence.
A project led by ACWA Power, where—together with another major consulting firm in Spain—we have helped financial institutions understand all the key aspects of this type of plant.
At last, since 31 May, the project has been producing its first kilograms of hydrogen, leaving a (carbon-neutral) mark on Uzbekistan’s energy system—and on us. After hundreds of hours of work, we carry with us a wealth of valuable experience.

At atlantHy, we’ve helped improve these projects and avoid mistakes that would have increased costs or caused delays—all through deep market knowledge.
If you’d like to count on us to support the development of your initiatives, we’d be delighted!
