A team passionate about its work
AtlantHy is made up of a team of people passionate about renewable hydrogen, carbon capture, and the production of synthetic fuels. We are committed to our clients, to society, and to the environment.
The company formally began its activity in early 2021. Since then, it has worked on defining strategies for various companies, and has carried out techno-economic feasibility analyses for a wide range of projects. It has also prepared and successfully submitted funding applications for hydrogen and methanol projects, and developed the engineering needed to reach the permitting phase in different autonomous communities. AtlantHy has also taken part in several Due Diligences for more than 2.5 GW of electrolysis capacity.
Our team consists of chemical, industrial, and energy engineers, focusing on the core processes of each project. We also collaborate with top-level experts in other disciplines, such as environmental, civil, water, and associated renewable energy systems.

Brais Armiño Franco
Brais has 4 years of experience in the hydrogen sector, a field he first came into contact with during his studies in Stockholm. He holds a Double Master’s Degree in Renewable Energies from KTH (Sweden) and IST (Portugal).
He has taken part in projects ranging from the development of hydrogen hubs to the drafting of basic and conceptual engineering for hydrogen production plants and refueling stations, as well as market analysis and strategy definition for entering the hydrogen sector.
Committed, creative, and consistent, he sees the energy transition as the greatest challenge our society faces today and is determined to make a positive impact through his work in the renewable hydrogen sector.

Javier Pollos Ezquerra
Energy engineer with a double master’s degree in renewable energies obtained abroad, Javier knew from the start that his future would be tied to sustainable technologies.
Before diving fully into hydrogen, he worked in the solar sector in business development.
With 4 years of experience focused on hydrogen, he has tackled challenges in almost every stage of the value chain, including production analysis, basic engineering, and studies on conversion, storage, and transport costs.
He has also contributed to knowledge-sharing initiatives such as El Podcast del Hidrógeno and various webinars.
